Darold owns and operates a premier guide service on Toledo Bend Lake.  For more than 15 years,  his guide service caters both individuals and corporate clients from all over the world.  His trips provide experiences to reward employees, appreciate clients, and provide lasting memories for families and friends. In 2020, Gleason began his pro fishing career by qualifying and competing in the FLW Tackle Warehouse Pro Circuit. During that year, he also won the 2020 Bassmaster Open and also qualified for the Bassmaster Classic. In November of 2020, he qualified for the Bassmaster Elite Series.

Darold and his wife, Randi, live on the shores of Toledo Bend Lake.  Darold also provides multi-day experiences including surf and turf (guide trip along with golf at the newly re-designed Cypress Bend Golf Club). Randi, who holds a marketing and PR degree, travels along during the season towing their 40ft fifth wheel. Randi works to capture content for brands along with owning a 20+ year sales business and a digital marketing agency.  Prior to fishing professionally, Darold was a business teacher and basketball coach and holds a Master's degree from Northwestern State University.
